Santtu Mustonen is a Finnish illustrator who currently lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Organic patterns, natural science and movement inspire Santtu's work, which combines hand-crafted and analog textures in a three-dimensional computer-based space. By experimenting with motion, Santtu strengthens the visual effects of his imagery and brings his illustrations to life. He aspires to innovate and broaden the field of illustration.
His broad portfolio includes designs for an array of clients such as Adobe, the New York Times, International Organization for Migration, World Design Capital 2012 Helsinki and Wired magazine.
