Omar Morales-Armstrong

Student
Omar Morales-Armstrong is cool.
GSAPP is just the latest stop in the world tour that is his life. New York, Canada, Italy, Brussels, Switzerland, Germany, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Puerto Rico, Ireland, Iceland, Romania, and soon Mumbai. The path hasn't always been strictly linear, either. He started college at Amherst in Massachusetts and dropped out to be a legal intern (and part-time subpoena-server), a soldier and an analyst on Wall Street before returning to finish his Bachelor's at Columbia and pursue his Masters at GSAPP. A full-time student and parent, Omar also works multiple jobs around the city, including at the Department of Design and Construction and Columbia's own Output Shop.
Hobbies include cooking and reading bedtime stories in goofy voices to his nine-year-old. And of course, the ubiquitous Architecture.
