Sissi Yang

Student
After graduating with the Professional Diploma in Architecture (B.Arch equivalent) in
Zhejiang University, Hongxi Yang was enrolled in the MS. Advanced Architectural Design
Program in the Graduation School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP),
Columbia University. Her design works have been successively selected in the GSAPP's
annual publication 'Abstract'.

During her five years of undergraduate study in China, Hongxi has been exchanging to
the Chinese University of Hong Kong for one year. Meanwhile, she was also chosen to
be the Assistant Curator for the exhibition of 'Post Generic City - Learning from Shenzhen'
in the 2009 Shenzhen & Hong Kong Biennale of Urbanism /Architecture. She also has
experience of working in Cornerstone Concilium, San Francisco and Zhejiang Institute of
Architectural Design and Research, China.
